FRAUDULENT LFCU OFFICIAL CHECKS

We have discovered that COUNTERFEIT LeRoy Federal Credit Union Official Checks are being circulated as part of a “Secret Shopper” or similar SCAM.

The check appears to look official, however, is counterfeit.

In this scam, the person that receives check is instructed to deposit and in some way send money back to sender.

DO NOT DEPOSIT OR CASH THIS CHECK.

Please report to your local Authorities.
